Nap Walk.

2025-Ongoing

“Nap Walk” is a collection of photos taken during the  in-between moments of motherhood. Each image was taken while walking my son in his stroller, hoping he would fall asleep as we moved through the neighborhood together.

What began as a practical routine — walking for 40 minutes or more to help him nap — became a way of "seeing". Ordinary details started to feel significant: shifting light on a sidewalk, a discarded object, trees moving in the wind, other caretakers passing by. These walks slow me down enough to appreciate my new identity: mom.

This project is about the tenderness and repetition of early parenthood, and the way caregiving can quietly reshape how we experience the world. “Nap Walk” reflects the balance between exhaustion and presence, routine and discovery, documenting the beauty hidden inside everyday life.
